An indoor plant with impressive lance-shaped leaves, featuring a textured surface, on the tip of a thin and long stem. It has striking white flowers that appear at the top of tall stems in the same way as the leaves. It adapts very easily to different conditions and for this reason is often used in homes, workplaces, and restaurants. It requires soil that contains peat and sand or a little gravel to ensure the good drainage it needs. It loves humidity in the environment, but its soil should not be constantly wet, nor should water remain in the saucer of the pot. It prefers warm spaces because it cannot withstand temperatures below 12°C. One of the greatest advantages of the peace lily is that it is very resistant to diseases and insects. It also has the property of purifying the indoor air from dangerous toxic substances such as formaldehyde, benzene, and carbon monoxide, substances that unfortunately exist in every home or office.
