Hosta sieboldiana

Evergreen, perennial herb. The maximum height of the plant reaches seventy centimeters, and its diameter one and a half meters. It has large, heart-shaped, fleshy leaves with pronounced ribs in green, blue-green color or a combination of light and dark green for panache varieties. It blooms elongately on vertical flowering shoots, each of which bears a votryos inflorescence. The inflorescences appear during the summer, and the flowers are white or light purple in color. It grows in fertile, moist, but well drained soils, in semi-shady to shady planting places, protected from dry and cold winds. It needs watering at regular intervals, with small doses of irrigation and frost protection.
