Ilex Aquifolium H. 25-35cm.

Evergreen shrub with a more or less glossy and spiny leaves. Grow in semi-shaded positions and find ideal environment in the shade of large trees. It is slow growing and suitable for cool, non-alkaline soils. Can be drastically pruned at the end of winter. They are durable and resistant plants at low temperatures. The fruit is red or yellow, spherical or oval. Stained in September and remain on the plant until May.
