The Ginseng ficus is an evergreen tree of Asian origin. It thrives both outdoors and indoors. It has a sturdy, thick trunk, glossy foliage, and minimal requirements. It needs frequent watering with deionized water and repotting into a bonsai pot every 2.5 to 3 years in the spring, where we use a special bonsai substrate. It thrives at temperatures above 0 degrees Celsius.
